DAY 1.
Arrival at Kotoka International Airport.Protocol officers will help in checkout formalities and transfer to hotel. Overnight Accra.DAY 2. ACCRA CITY TOUR.
The mid-morning start will take you through the principal street of Old and New Accra, visiting THE INDEPENDENCE SQUARE,KWAME NKRUMAH MEMORIAL PARK,NATIONAL MUSEUM,ART CENTER,THE FAMOUS MAKOLA MARKET, W.E.B DUBOIS CENTER for Pan-African history,TESHIE SYMBOLIC CASKET SHOP and UNIVERSITY OF GHANA CAMPUS. Back to hotel.DAY 3. CAPE COAT/ELMINA
We depart for the central region of Ghana to have a coastal life experience.Places to visit upon arrival are,CAPE COAST CASTLE,CASTLE MUSEUM,POSOBAN SHRINE,ELMINA CASTLE,FISHING VILLAGE,STONE HOUSE,EDINA LAGOON and UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST.Overnight at a Hotel.DAY 4. KAKUM NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast,we head for Kakum the natural rain forest endowed with trees of medicinal values also serves as a habitat for wildlife.Activities includes, going on the 40metre high Canopy Walkway,Kuntan Trail hiking,culture performance and the exhibition shop.Lunch would be taken at a restaurant built on Crocodile Pond. The rest of the day will be spent at Coconut beach resort. Overnight.DAY 5. ASHANTI REGION.
Depart early morning through the slave route stopping over at Asin Manso to visit the Slave river.We continue to Kumasi ,arriving on time to visit,THE MANHYIA PALACE,OLD COURT,KOMFO ANOKYE SWORD SITE,NATIONAL CULTURE CENTER,PREMPEH II MUSEUM and KEJETIA MARKET(the largest open-air market in West Africa). Overnight at Hotel.DAY 6. CRAFT VILLAGES.
This tour brings you closer to the artistic nature of the indigenous people.We will visit Bonwire,Pankrono,Ahwiaa,Ntonso,Bobiri Butterfly sanctuary and Lake Bosomtwe(optional). We depart for Accra through the midlands arriving late afternoon. Overnight at HotelDAY 7.

Day 1
Arrival at Kotoka International airport, you would be met and assisted by our protocol officers at the arrival hall, followed by orientations after a welcome drink, overnight at Hotel. Accra.Day 2 Accra city tour
We start by mid-morning driving through the principal street of Accra to the KWAME NKRUMAH Memorial Park named after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana. After a guided tour of the place, we will visit CENTER FOR NATIONAL CURTURE where a variety of African handicraft are displayed and sold and also to the NATIONAL MUSEUM to examine some historic archaeological discoveries and colonial antiquities. The famous ‘Makola’ market would not be left out on the trip to witness the entrepreneurial skills being displayed by the indigenous market women as they go about their daily business. The day ends with a conducted tour of the premier university of Ghana Legon and finally to Dr. W.E.B DUBOIS CENTER for Pan-African Culture.Day 3 Central region.
We depart Accra through “city” villages to the central region, there will be a stop over at Abanzi village for an excursion, to Fort Amsterdam and proceeds to have fishing experience with the local fishermen at the beach and head on to Cape Coast. A conducted tour of the Cape Coast Castle and a visit to Cape Coast town to have interactions with the indigenous people going about the daily activities. Spend the rest of the day at the beach resort. Overnight at Coconut groove Bridge house Hotel.DAY 4. Kakum National Park, Elmina Castle,
Early morning excursion to the Kakum National Park. Together with the guide we walk the 2 kilometres long Kuntan Trail, straight through the tropical forest with medicinal plants and herbs. A very adventurous and exciting walk on the famous canopy walkway which hangs 40 metres from the ground across the forest that gives you a bird’s eye view of the forest is recommended for those that are not afraid of height. Lunch break at a restaurant built on crocodile pond (optional) Hans Cottage. In the afternoon we will have a conducted tour through the Elmina Castle. This castle is the earliest known European magnificent building on the coast of sub- Saharan Africa, built by the Portuguese in 1482 and later used as the main auction market and garrison for the slave trade. Of special interest are the slave dungeons, the auction market and the Portuguese Church. A visit to the Elmina fish market and the stone houses ends today's program. Back to hotel.Day 5 Kumasi.
After breakfast, we depart through midlands to Kumasi the capital of the Ashanti Region. The Ashantis forms the biggest tribal group of the entire population in Ghana. For centuries they were the rulers in the region because of their well organized society. In the afternoon we will visit the "Manhyia Palace" the seat of the Ashanti King. In the "Manhyia Palace" court cases still takes place according to the century’s old customs, where the king has the last word. We will be taken through the palace museum for antiquities, the Komfo Anokyi sword site, the culture center and the famous Kejetia Market the largest open-air market in West Africa. Overnight at Sir Max hotel in Kumasi.DAY 6 Craft Villages (Lake Bosomtwe)
Surrounding craft villages of Kumasi and Cultural Afternoon. Ahwiaa for woodcarving and Ntonso for tie and dye clothing, we continue to Bonwere kente weaving village, where we will be welcomed by the Kente Chief with traditional music and dance for a Cultural afternoon with a demonstration of the Kente weaving. If you like, you can take part in traditional cooking and also visit a peasant farm to see how palm wine is tapped. Back to Kumasi, overnight at Sir Max hotel.DAY 7 Kintampo waterfalls, Techiman.
We depart Kumasi to Techiman, where we will arrive by mid-day for an excursion to the Kintampo waterfalls and Fuller Falls. Techiman is important by its strategic position as a place where nearly all the traffic from north to south and east to west, and the other way round, passes. On the market you will find very nice pottery. Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary and grottos, Once upon a time, a greater part of Ghana was covered with tropical rain forest. One of the remaining parts of this tropical rain forest is the national park "Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary", where about 14 monkeys’ colonies lives in harmony with human being. Check-in to a hotel for the night.DAY 8 Mole National Park.
After breakfast, we depart for our long drive partly through rough terrain for a visit to the largest Nature Park in Ghana, Mole National Park. Viewing en route the Savannah grassland, fascinating architecture sparsely dotted along the way. Observing the contrast in Culture and life style between the southern and the northern part of Ghana. We stop at Larabanga to admire the old mosque and the mystery rock, and then drive on to the Mole National Park, where we can watch the wildlife from a terrace of the motel as most of the wildlife comes to the compound to drink and bath in their lake. Overnight: Mole Motel, DamongoDAY 9-10 Eastern/Volta
Today you will be brought back to the coastal area via Kumasi where the river Volta meets the sea at Ada Foah. The trip goes via Nkawkaw, Koforidua, Somanya, Afienya, and Dawenya to Ada Foah, a nice trip through a verity of landscapes. Manet Paradise Beach Resort is located on the riverbanks of the Volta. Here you have several possibilities to spend the afternoon, from relaxing at the poolside to go on the river with one of the Jet Ski's etc. Hotel for the night: Manet Paradise Beach Resort at Ada Foah.DAY 11. Dodi Island Cruise
A cruise with Dodi Princess with live band onboard takes you to Dodi Island. On the Island you will be entertained by the locals amidst drumming and dancing. After interacting with locals or going for canoe fishing, we cruise back to the hotel.DAY 12
As we head towards Tafi Atome monkey Sanctuary, we will stopover at The Dr. Noamesi’s World acclaimed Herbals Centre which offers you the opportunity to experience the preparation of herbal medicine. Since its inception, it has patented herbal preparations for diseases such as diabetes, asthma, stomach ulcer, paralysis, and blurred vision, just to mention a few. It has recently added a modern spa and herbal therapy to its existing facilities. Our day will also take us to Wli water fall and Lepke ancestral cave sites.
